Iranian feature ‘Tornado’ to go online

Iranian feature ‘Tornado’ is to be screened online due to coronavirus lockdown.

The feature film ‘Tornado’ has been scheduled to be screened online due to coronavirus lockdown in Iran.

Created for teenage audiences, the film’s storyline is about a professor who starts his own restaurant which ultimately turns into a spaceship.

A group of troublemaking teens come along, causing the spaceship to take off into space, and finally landing on a faraway planet.

Directed by Javad Hashemi, online premiering of ‘Tornado’ will start on May 20, 2020.

The film went on silver screens prior to the coronavirus outbreak. But the screenings were canceled with the closure of the movie theaters.

The cast members include Akbar Abdi, Kamran Tafti, Behnoush Bakhtiari, Elnaz Habibi, Arsalan Qasemi, Abas Jamshidi, Vahid Nafar, Amir Ronaqi, Rastin Azizpour, Amirreza Ahmadi, Mohammad-Mehdi Irani and Negar Nafez.
